River Pine Forest was the 70th forest established by Roger Dickie (N.Z.) Ltd.
River Pine Forest is located on Willow Flat Road off Highway 2 some 85 kms from the city and port of Napier and 68 kms from the Pan Pac Mill at Whirinaki. The forest was planted in 2000 with high grade Pinus Radiata seedlings and has a net stocked area of 296.7 ha. The forest has been pruned to 6.5 meters and was thinned to 350 stems per ha
