Maxwell Forest Partnership was the 2nd forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2003 Maxwell had an estimated net stocked area of 250.2 hectares. Planting of the first rotation took place in the winter of 1990 and harvesting was completed in 2019. 

In 2021 Maxell had an estimated net stocked area of 292 hectares. Planting of the second rotation took place in 2019 and the forest is forecast to be harvested in 2041.

The Maxwell property is situated at Maxwell between Wanganui and Waverley on State Highway 3. Access is from Kauarapaoa Road and Rangitatau West Road.
