Malthouse Forest Partnership was the 29th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2021 Malthouse had an estimated net stocked area of 216 hectares.

The Malthouse Forest Partnership was created in March 1994. Planting took place in winter of 1994. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2022.

The Malthouse Forest is situated 6km on State Highway 2 North of Wairoa, 5 km down Waiatai Road and 98 km from Gisborne.
