This forest is privately owned.

When purchased in 1999 the property already had 10.2 ha of mature forest established in 1976; 247.8 ha established in 1993 and 23.2 ha established in 1994 giving a total net stocked area of 281.2 ha.

The forest is located on Ihungia Road, 115 km north of Gisborne.
