Waikare Forest Partnership

Waikare Forest, planted in 1989, was the 1st forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd and is situated 16 km from State Highway 3 at Waitotara. The forest has a net stocked area of 454.9 hectares.

Harvesting commenced in February 2015 with the first load of logs leaving the property on Wednesday Feb 18th going to New Plymouth Port for Export. Logs for the domestic market will be going to Taranaki Pine in New Plymouth and other local mills.
