Ashdown Forest Partnership

Ashdown Forest Partnership was the 33rd forest established by Roger Dickie NZ. and is part of the Ruakaturi block.  In 2018 Ashdown had an estimated net stocked area of 222.5 hectares. Planting of Ashdown took place in July of 1994 and it is forecast to commence harvesting in 2020/21 and being 222 ha will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete.  The harvested areas will be replanted each winter. 

Ashdown Forest is one of nine forests situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay on Ruakituri Valley Road off No.36 State Highway and 75 km South West of Gisborne. Partners are welcome to visit the property at any time.
