Long Ridge Forest Partnership was the 31st forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2003 Long Ridge had an estimated net stocked area of 329.8 hectares.
The Long Ridge Forest Partnership was created in May 1994. Planting of 138.7 hectares took place later that year and a further 191.1 hectares was planted in the winter of 1996. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2021.
Long Ridge Forest is situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay. The Long Ridge Forest Partnership is part of the 2,282 hectares of Ruakituri Station located 75 km South West of Gisborne on Ruakituri Valley Road of No.36 State Highway. Long Ridge is one of the nine forest partnerships on Ruakituri Station. Ruakituri station bounds the Wairoa and Ruakituri rivers. Partners are welcome to visit the property at any time.
